Management
Mr. Michael Monette, President and CEO, brings to GWC a background in professional engineering spanning two decades, with areas of specialty in turbine thermodynamics and power generation combined with executive strategic planning and development, management, sales and marketing experience. He is currently President and Chair of the Board of Directors for the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE) and is an Ivy MBA graduate.
Mr. Werner (Jake) Wink, co-founder, brings executive operating expertise to GWC from his manufacturing industry experience and provides a strong depth in operations and risk management based upon his experience in the Canadian and US markets.
Our VP Government Relations and co-founder, provides an in-depth knowledge of public-private sector partnerships and a unique ability to integrate multiple interests into working coalitions, so necessary to ensure win-win relationships necessary in the energy industry.
Other resources that have worked with GWC represent the fields of engineering, project implementation, manufacturing and assembly, seaway transportation, biomass and infrastructure development. GWC is currently focussed on defending its interests (GWC v Stelco).
