Suppliers
Each project has unique requirements and for this reason Georgian Windpower Corporation has developed relationships with strategic suppliers capable of meeting its needs. These suppliers address each component of the development process from site selection, assessment, and economic modeling through to logistics engineering and deployment planning. Various technologies are continually emerging to improve the efficiency of wind power turbine systems and Georgian Windpower Corporation conducts a global review program to identify and review current and emerging technologies. As an example, GWC has investigated the benefits of direct drive technology for wind power turbines as one element of its strategy to deploy wind power projects that operate cost effectively beyond the initial few years following commissioning. Each site development provides for unique challenges and GWC maintains a flexible approach to technology deployment, working to maximize overall site energy delivery efficiency.
